As a project engineer, you produce 3D models for the orders we win. Based in the technical heart of the organisation, you solve any issues and ensure that each project passes smoothly through the factory.
You start bright and early, eating technical issues for breakfast! In our engineering department, a large team of engineers works hard every day to prepare projects for processing in our own factory. You turn a sales rendering with technical specifications into a detailed 3D model where everything fits together perfectly. Sheet metal work, piping, custom frames – nothing is too unorthodox for you.
Your daily activities include creating the detailed 3D model in our SolidEdge CAD package, producing drawings for the factory and finally delivering the files needed by our laser cutter. As your projects are made in our own facility on a time line of a few weeks, this close contact with the shop floor helps you improve both your approach and skills and the products themselves.
